These Terms govern your use of the GetCoached platform (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using GetCoached, you agree to these Terms.
- Our Role
GetCoached operates an online marketplace connecting clients with independent personal trainers (“PTs”).
We do not provide fitness services.
We do not employ PTs.
We do not control how PTs deliver services.
We provide technology, marketing, payment processing, and dispute support.
All training services are delivered by independent professionals.
- Independent Contractor Status (Critical Clause)
All Personal Trainers using GetCoached operate as independent contractors.
Nothing in these Terms creates:
- An employment relationship
- A partnership
- A joint venture
- An agency relationship
PTs:
- Control how, when, and where they provide services
- Set their own prices and availability
- May work with other platforms and private clients
- Are responsible for their own tax and insurance
GetCoached does not supervise, direct, or manage PT work.

We aim to protect both clients and trainers while maintaining platform integrity.
- Definitions
- Client – Any person booking services
- PT – Independent personal trainer
- Booking – A session purchased through the Platform
- GMV – Total transaction value
CLIENT TERMS
- Bookings & Payments
- All bookings must be made through GetCoached
- Payments are processed via Stripe
- Prices include applicable marketplace fees
- Payment is required at checkout
- Cancellations, Refunds & Mediation
Unless otherwise stated:
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
- Late cancellations may not be refunded
- Refunds depend on PT policy and circumstances
Where disputes arise, GetCoached may act as an independent mediator.
We may review:
- Booking history
- Platform records
- Communications
Refund decisions remain at our discretion.
- Gym Memberships
Some sessions require gym membership.
Clients are responsible for maintaining valid access.
GetCoached is not responsible for facility access.
- Health & Safety
Clients confirm they are medically fit and participate at their own risk.
Health conditions must be disclosed.
PERSONAL TRAINER TERMS
- Eligibility & Onboarding
PTs must:
- Hold valid qualifications
- Maintain insurance
- Provide accurate information
- Meet platform standards
Approval is at GetCoached’s discretion.
- Fees
PTs agree to:
- 4% PT service fee
- 5% client marketplace fee
Fees may change with notice.
- Payments & Payouts
- All client payments are processed via GetCoached
- Funds are received by GetCoached
- Payouts are made manually or automatically
PTs are responsible for all tax obligations.
- Professional Conduct
PTs must:
- Act professionally
- Communicate clearly
- Honour bookings
- Comply with laws
Misconduct may result in removal.
- Platform Integrity & Off-Platform Payments
If a client is introduced through GetCoached:
All payments for related services must be processed through the Platform.
Circumventing the Platform to avoid fees may result in suspension or termination.
This clause exists to protect platform sustainability and does not restrict PT independence.
- Cancellations & Disputes (PTs)
PTs agree to:
- Clearly communicate policies
- Engage in mediation
- Act in good faith
Failure to cooperate may affect platform status.
GENERAL TERMS
- Reviews & Content
We may moderate and remove:
- False reviews
- Abusive content
- Misleading information
- Platform Availability
We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Features may change.
- Liability & Disclaimer
GetCoached is not liable for:
- Injuries
- Service quality
- User conduct
- Income loss
- Disputes
Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 3 months.
- Insurance
PTs must maintain appropriate professional and public liability insurance.
Clients are responsible for personal cover.
- Suspension & Termination
Accounts may be suspended for:
- Breaches
- Fraud
- Circumvention
- Misrepresentation
- Misconduct
Decisions are final.
- Data & Privacy
Use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
- Intellectual Property
All branding, content, and platform materials belong to GetCoached.
- Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms.
Continued use constitutes acceptance.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
